We invited Exeter MP Steve Race to visit us so we could tell him how amazing HPC is and ask for support with it being rolled out across the country. He was impressed with how the programme has been developed with scientific rigour, how parents benefit so much from it, and how cheap it is to do the faciliator training. It wouldn’t cost much to roll it out nationally so there could be facilitators in every local authority.
Steve’s sister had Hurler Syndrome, so has first hand experience of the the highs and lows of living with a disabled child.
