Welcome

The Healthy Parent Carers programme is designed to improve parent carers’ health and wellbeing by promoting empowerment, confidence, and resilience.

It was inspired by and developed together with parent carers from the Family Faculty in the Peninsula Childhood Disability Research Unit (PenCRU) based in the University of Exeter Medical School.

Things got a lot better for me partly due to this course, and also because I felt more motivated to better myself… I keep referring back to the skills I have from this to help me manage my stress.
