K from Bracknell has been part of the latest HPC course in Bracknell. She says, “Essentially being in a group of like minded individuals with similar hectic home lives & struggles that parents with “typical” children don’t truly understand, is the most beneficial part of this course. It created a safe open space to speak freely without judgement and knowing the others just “get” you. We all respected that our children’s differences were unique and there was no competition on who had the most stress or anyone trying to say “I’ve been there” and offering unsolicited opinions or ‘advice’!”
